Between the sizzling meat, the crackling of the fire, and his own imagination, Oddir didn't realize someone was approaching his camp until he heard a "hello." The strange woman stood their, with brown hair flowing all the way to her torso, and her hazel eyes glowing from the bright light from the flame. "Where are my manners, hello, would you like to share this meat with me. There is too much for me anyways" Oddir said.
As Seline cleared the woods, she saw the glow of a flame along the trail in front of her. Hesitantly, she followed the pale glow, a small shelter had been set up but no one was visible. She started to turn back, but the ache for a break in her travels to Elantris drew her closer to the flame. Seline noticed a figure crouched by the fire, "Hello?" she called out.
Oddir heads back to his little makeshift camp on the outskirts of the nearby village of Theebleton. He gathers sticks and uses his staff to ignite the stick to make a fire. Oddir reaches for his pan, set up a cooking spit over the burning flames, and put venison on the pan and listens to the sizzling sound of the meat as he wonders what the future awaits for him.
In the distance, the shadows of a village were visible through the setting sun. Her pace increased as the forest grew darker around her. She began looking for a place to set up for the night.

Across two eddies and through sparse trees where the forest was still young, a confused reply echoes the greeting.
"Hullo?" The word is odd and might not even be herd. Haja, hanging upside down from a tree looks puzzled as she squints through the fallen night.
After a few seconds of quiet, she shrugs.
"Oh, suppose it was just the crazy in me again," she says, slipping back up into her tree to fall quickly to sleep.
