After participating in Discussion 03, begin your character profile. Be sure to include all the following sections, and keep in mind that this is your character for the rest of the semester. Choose a canvas that will allow you to write a story. Don't try to create someone incredibly skilled now. Failure and growth are what make stories worth telling.

Use the following prompts to begin thinking of a first scene for your character. Refer to your Hero Wheel. This is to be your STATUS QUO piece.
Ideas for those more prone to creativity-freeze.
Prompt X: Your character is denied passage on a ship to Elantris even though they paid for a legitimate ticket aboard.
Prompt K: Your character is a runaway, but not from just any home. They've just spotted guards searching through the nearby hostel.
Prompt C: Your character has just got to get away. They can no longer tolerate this and have just decided to go to Elantris of all places.

Bow-This does not include the craft of a bow or arrows or quivers. This is specifically the use of a bow for hunt or combat.
Staff-Just a sturdy stick can make you lethal if you've spent enough time training.
Dagger-Not everyone feels comfortable with just their hand blade on their hip, but you do.

Magic I: Potion and Poison -Bubble and brew a magical stew, bottle it up, and sell it to your crew. Potion makers must study plants and other ingredients for magical potions to work well.
Magic II: Elemental - You'll need a wand and an adventurous spirit. Elementals often find themselves the targets of unwanted attention, as the marks on their body set them out.
Magic III: Enchanting - These crafters can imbue items and even their bodies with magical purpose. Enchanters need to memorize hundreds of spells to be truly powerful, and rune chalk is not always easy to come by.
