Gnomes are the magicians of the earth element. They can control and maneuver many types of dirt, minerals and even lava in the right conditions. If you are a gnome, you probably aspire to be exactly like the great Alfred Gnomley, who was the documented gnome magician. The name comes from him.

A magician will use this magic to maneuver and control the earths resources by moving their hands in the direction and manner desired. As you become more skillful and powerful, the less you have to use your hands. Gnomely could move a boulder just by thinking about it. To move something, use two fingers and point at the object, then move fingers in the direction you want the object to go in. Bigger objects take more power and, in some cases, more than two fingers. You can also rotate objects by putting the heels of your hands together and rotate them to where you want to rotate the object.

This magic can be used in multiple situations. Combat is probably the most common use of earth magic. A person can use magic to fire rocks and even lava in some cases at opponents. Another use is building. A strong magician can form the earths resources into structures.

How are wands used?
What are other uses of earth magic?
What all falls under the category of earth, as opposed to fire, water and air magic?
I like the idea that the more powerful you become, the less motion it takes to manipulate the earth.
Knowing that earth magic can be beneficial in building could be helpful in character.
Do different types of wands give bonuses?
Can you expand on Alfred, please...give him his own lore book for more depth.
What are the practical uses for earth elemental?
Is earth elemental only combative?
Definitely gonna expand on my characters abilities with this.
The question I had before going in is how do wands come into play in casting magic.
The question I have now after reading is what is a gnome?
What I want clarified is why is "The Great Alfred Gnomley" so great?
I like the idea that a master Earth elemental can basically can just use their minds.
I have no clue how I can use this since I don't specialize in this.
